4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate information, content, branding materials, approvals, and feedback required for project completion.
Clients are solely responsible for ensuring that all text, images, logos, trademarks, videos, and other materials supplied to LocalLift are owned by them or properly licensed for use.
5. Project Timelines
Project timelines depend on project complexity, client responsiveness, availability of required materials, third-party services, and other factors outside our control.
Estimated completion dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
6. Payments
Projects typically involve an initial website creation fee and an optional ongoing monthly retainer for website support and updates.
Payment terms will be outlined separately in project proposals, invoices, or written agreements.
Failure to make payments may result in delays, suspension of work, or suspension of services until outstanding balances are resolved.
7. Ongoing Website Support
Clients enrolled in a monthly retainer plan may request website edits, updates, and support during the active service period.
Requests that significantly expand the original scope of the website may require additional fees.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, clients may cancel ongoing support services at any time.
8. Website Ownership and Project Handoff
Upon full payment of all outstanding balances, the client owns the completed website and all content they provided.
If ongoing services are cancelled:
- LocalLift will transfer hosting ownership when possible.
- LocalLift will provide the website source code.
- LocalLift will provide project files reasonably necessary to maintain the website.
- LocalLift will provide documentation describing the tools and services used to build the website.
This handoff is intended to help future developers maintain and update the website efficiently.
9. Hosting and Third-Party Services
Websites may rely on third-party providers including hosting providers, domain registrars, email providers, payment processors, and embedded third-party tools and services.
Hosting for LocalLift websites may be provided through Netlify or another provider selected by the client.
These providers operate independently from LocalLift and maintain their own terms and privacy practices.
LocalLift is not responsible for service interruptions, outages, security incidents, pricing changes, policy changes, or other issues caused by third-party providers.
10. Security
LocalLift uses reputable hosting and deployment platforms and follows reasonable security practices.
However, no website, hosting provider, network, or online service can guarantee complete security. Clients acknowledge that internet-based services inherently involve risk.
11. No Guarantee of Business Results
LocalLift does not guarantee search engine rankings, website traffic, lead generation, revenue increases, customer acquisition, or conversion rates.
Our responsibility is limited to delivering the agreed website services.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LocalLift shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of revenue, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of data, or business interruption.
Any liability arising from our services shall be limited to the amount paid to LocalLift for the specific services giving rise to the claim.
